How far does LiveAid actually reduce poverty? It might be more useful for the involved celebraties to each donate a fraction of their wealth to the Third World, instead of instigating destructive marches to Edinburgh.

Apparently, LiveAid is gonna be on the same day as London Pride. Would there be any synergy between the gay-ers and the antipoverty campaigners?
