Fun things to do over the weekend and beyond
Of course, the thesis is fun. At first glance, the comments from the tutor look good, and it looks like I don't have to do much aside from doing the formatting, correcting a few minor factual inaccuracies, blar blar.
This weekend, Saturday will be Brighton.
Sunday, there's qutie a few options. Badminton looks like most likely, though one of the fairs in London this very weekend might win out.
First of all, there's the Carnaval Del Puelbo, http://www.carnavaldelpueblo.co.uk/ , which according to the Guardian is a festival with a turnout of up to 100,000. There will be a procession of floats, three stages showcasing salsa singers, Cuban rappers, Bolivian dancers, etc.
Then, there's a party organised by the Innocent Smoothie people, at Regent's Park. This is prolly the nearest to my place. The website's www.fruitstock.co.uk .
The third one, is sadly sold out. It's at Clapham Common, £5 entry, with free Ben and Jerry's!!!! Ah well. http://www.benjerry.co.uk/ Very cool website of theirs. :p
